1. Categories

1). Distinguished International Student Scholarship

Eligibility: The applicant should be a foreign student at his/her own expense for a degree program (including undergraduate and graduate programs), and he/she should have not applied for suspending schooling, keeping the student status or extending study period during the previous year.

Schlarship Rates:

First Prize: Exemption from tuition for one year;
Second Prize: Exemption from tuition for a half year.

2). Single Item Scholarship

Eligibility: The applicant should be a foreign student (including all students at public or their own expense) studying in ECNU who has outstanding performance in such aspects as study, sports, arts, welfare activities, etc.

Scholarship Rates: RMB 2,000;

Note: The students may apply for several kinds of scholarship, but they can only get one.

2. Application Materials

1). The Application Form;

2). Academic transcript for last academic year (last semester for advanced study);

3). Other certificates or materials which can prove the applicant's excellent performance.

Note: The applicant who applies for several kinds of scholarship should fill in different application forms, but the materials listed in Item 2 and 3 only needs to be submitted once.

3. Timing

Oct 21- 30: The applicant submits the materials to the college or deparment in which he/she is studying.

Oct 30 - Nov 5: The college or department makes evaluation and submit application materials to International Students Office.

Mid-Nov.: Departments concerned make reevaluation to determine the list of scholarship winners and the name list is open to public on the website of International Students Office.

Nov 20: The Inform for Scholarship-winning is issued.

Early Dec.: The ceremony for scholarship awarding is held.
