How to choose a school in China

When choosing a school to go to in China, there are lots to consider. For example, what course the school offers, the school’s reputation, what purpose the area of study has, what pre-requisites there are, what some of the features or characteristics of the Department are, how much the course costs, and how the course would enhance the chances of landing a job in the future. These are all common thoughts for people wanting to come to China to study as they plan their road for life.
 
Most prospective students choose to research information about Chinese education institutions on the internet. There are several ways to collect information about the school.
 
Six ways to collect school information
 
(1) through the Internet. China Education and Research Network, China Scholarship Council Secretariat website, Chinese Service Center for the Study in China website provides complete  information about the school.
 
(2) may apply to Chinese diplomatic embassies, consulates general, and friendly groups to organize counseling; education from local government departments or agencies to provide counseling for students who has in enquiry about studying in China.
 
(3) full use of reference books.
 
(4) ask for brochures on the University, enrollment procedures etc.
 
(5) you can learn from the Chinese people in the consultation.
 
(6) Study in China Education Exhibition. To meet the needs of international students studying in China, Chinese Service Center, China Scholarship Council Secretariat, Secretariat of China Education Association for International Exchange is held every year for overseas students.
