Application Qualifications and materials:

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health and abide by Chinese laws and university's regulations. Applicants can send Northeast Forestry University Application Form to International Cooperation Office via fax, E-mail or post mail.

Curriculum

Northeast Forestry University offers courses on different levels for overseas students, including oral Chinese, listening, Chinese Literature, Writing, International Trade, Intensive Reading and HSK Training. The university has basic, elementary, intermediate, advanced level classes as well as short-term class.

The teaching will focus on conversation competence. Teachers will adjust arrangement to students on different level. These measures will rapidly improve overseas students’ comprehensive skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.

The university organizes several journeys and activities every semester, such as skiing, skating, view ice and snow sculptures. These will surely help overseas students have better understanding of Chinese history, culture and custom.

Admission Date

Students should apply for Spring Semester (from March to July) before January and for Autumn Semester (from September to January) before August. The registration time will be specified in the Admission Notice.

Fee (Unit: RMB)

Tuition:6000/one semester (including insurance ), 11500/ two semesters.

Other expenses, such as costs of book, food, medical treatment, insurance and long travels, will be paid by overseas students themselves.

Tuition must be paid within the first week after classes begin. If the student discontinues their study at NEFU, the tuition will be non-refundable.
