SYSU and ACC renewed the cooperation agreement

Sun Yat-sen University and Anderson Cancer Center Renewed the Cooperation Agreement

On January 6th, Sino-US Symposium on Head and Neck Cancer was held in SYSU Cancer Center. During the symposium, SYSU Cancer Center hosted a 5-year sister hospital agreement renewal ceremony with US No.1 cancer center, namely the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. The two sides will continue to enhance their cooperation on talents training, clinical service, scientific research, and etc, besides, they will focus on the development of translational medicine, especially on strengthening bilateral new drug clinical trial. Academician Zeng Yixin, President of SYSU Cancer Center and US National Academy of Sciences Academician Ronald Depinho, President of Anderson Cancer Center, signed the agreement on behalf of each side’s cancer center respectively.
