Family Fun Night

The Canadian International School of Beijing held their annual Family Fun Night on November 15th for pre-K to year 5. Students and their families were invited to the school to participate in an evening of food, games and dancing. This fun evening lasted for one hour and a half. Popular activities included face painting, musical chairs, spin and win, limbo, tug of war, pin the tail on the donkey, speed stacking, story corner, fish pond and so much more. The students were so excited to receive a wide variety of prizes. During the evening the students were treated to fresh cookies and juice. After the games, everyone was invited into the gym to dance to YMCA, the Chicken Dance and Locomotion. At the end of the evening, everyone received a uniquely colored CISB balloon. The night was a great success! There were hundreds of students and their parents/guardians who attended and the smiles/laughter and thanks expressed on the way out all told of a very successful event. A very special “thanks” goes to the Global Issues Network students and other middle-high students who assisted with the event; as well to all the teachers and staff who helped to organize, set up and run the event.

Family Fun Night was a night of memories—one that will not soon be forgotten!
