Beijing City International School (BCIS) is happy to present the fourth installment of the BCIS Parents As Learners (PAL) Workshop: Can film help with higher order thinking? This event will be held on Thursday 8th December in room 1407, between 9:00am and 10:30am.
Will Percy, the Learning Technologies Co-ordinator at BCIS, will be presenting the workshop, which will examine the use of film resources to promote enquiry and show how we can empower students to become authentic authors by creating and publishing their own short movies. In particular, the workshop will look at how this process engages students in higher order thinking and how the materials that they author can help them on their way to a successful university application.
You are welcome to bring your friends and colleagues; if you’re interested please contact Yisha Niu (Marketing Department) at Yisha.niu@bcis.cn .
