MTI Tianjin:Application Procedure

STEP 1: APPLY

You will need:

Original passport of student with valid visa

Copies of parents’ passports and visas or non-passport IDs and residence permits

One passport-style photo, taken within the last three months

Copies of two years of school records where applicable

Completed Application Form

ECC Questionnaire (for FC, JK and K applicants)

English Language Questionnaire (for elementary and middle school non-native English speakers)

Signed Philosophy Statement (Eng/Korean or Eng/Chinese)

Testing fee (500 RMB per candidate)

Credit request form for all high school applicants

STEP 2: ENTRANCE TEST

You will need to:

Apply to test if step 1 has not been completed;

Take the test (please see Timeline for testing dates details)

STEP 3: INTERVIEW

You will be notified within three to five business days whether your test results meet the requirements for an interview.

After the interview, the principal will consult with the teachers and you will be notified within three to five business days whether you have been accepted.

STEP 4: PREPARATION BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

The following must be completed before school begins:

Immunization Record

Medical Consent
